The Ripe Master

Filed under: poetry — mohammadilyas @ 7:57 am

Near the town of Mastuj in Chitral Valley

there is a small village in sight

lives there not a lord but a school teacher

famous for being able and upright

in the black sea of corruption of the society

he is swimming like a white fish

means being millionaire run upto a penny

who can not bear will, wit and wish

to perform duty in distant school exams

he leaves with an old teapot

once en route was injured by a rider

made not absent from the spot

once to a place he had gone on duty

there he was invited on a meal

came to know son of the host was a pupil

he turned around like a wheel

his weaker relatives fail in examination

as principles know not brothers

the weaker have to choose far away halls

to be examined by some others

he was being made the headmaster of school

the officials asked for some bribe

replied ‘If I am eligible let me be

include me not in satanic tribe’

principles of some souls show will of God

seem stronger than any metal

he named ‘Ripe Master’ is seen chasing evil

only with a cup and a kettle.
